Height from water

    Wondering how high these should really be off the water. I have some brains on the sand and I dont want to be starving them for light.

    Thoughts?

    I have leds but mine are AI SOL so this may not help much but i have mine about 12" above the water line. I had a bulb from boosled over a 5 gallon and ran that about 10 inches. I would say for this particular set up i would started at 12" andmove it up or down if neccesary.
