    Hey - just thought i'd share with you all that my lfs has one of these critters for sale. Its 150 british pounds! That is so much for a fish!! I've heard there is a tang out there for a grand!!

    lol sorry - my keyboard types in american for some reason so i cant use the pound (sterling) symbol! (this is weird as im from the uk)

    Never seen one of these in Australia, only the firefish. Nice looking fish, and they are extremely rare thus the price. I belive the tang for over $1000 would be a gem tang, extremely rare and exremely beautiful.

    liveaquaria had a 3500 dollar angelfish the other day in the divers den section, I always like looking at it cause of some of the rare stuff that shows up...lots of times there is stuff I have never seen on there...

    There are few angelfish that run up over 1200 bucks as well as a few eels that make their way into the 4 figure club. Dont think i could do it without a 15 day guarantee :p The odds of those fish being kept in enough aquariums over the years due to rarity would lead me to believe that data on suitability and survival rate is not very good...
