    How's it going everyone. I currently have a 12 gallon nano cube with live sand, a 10lb live rock. I have 2 fish in it, a clown fish and a blue damsel. I have had the tank for 2 years now.

    I also have a 55 gallon tank that I want to make into a saltwater setup. So I am here to get all the advice and recommendations I can get. I want to go with a sump setup and I am looking for DIY sump suggestions!

    Well, if you have kept a nano tank succedfully for two years, then a 55 should be a breeze for you ;)
    If you look under the I made this forum http://www.3reef.com/forums/i-made/
    You can search and find many DIY sumps there are good designs in there.
    For myself, I just copied Birdlady :)

    The Nano Cube had everything built-in! I just had to add LR/LS and acclimate it. Now I am starting from scratch and I have to get everything separately. But I have never had a problem with the Nano though. I hope it will be a breeze with the new tank.
