First off, love the site, i creep around looking for answers to my simple n00b questions all the time ;).
I live in Iowa and have started my first reef aquarium about 4 months ago and am loving this hobby
Tank is a 46 gal. bowfront with 50 lbs of LR with 50 more curing as i type. Right now there are 6 chromins, 2 clownfish, 1 tang, 2 peppermint shrimp, 1 sand starfish, and one blue-tipped anemone, and for coarse there are some hermits runnin around. Always looking for more.
The sump that i set us is an old 20 gal. that has a reef octopus 150 skimmer, live sand and rock for biological filtration.
Parameters are: 79 degrees, pH is 8.0, NO2 NO3 and NH3 are all zero, sp is about 1.025
