    Doesnt the MH light over teh 25 gallon heat it too much? I have a 30 gallon and was told i could not go the MH route.

    The answer is no, it doesn't heat up much at all, even with 92 degree weather yesterday. You have to give it to Marineland, the design on this light fixture is amazing. It has an internal fan that is temperature sensitive, the water is never a degree over 81.
