    I am happy to say I have finally gotten myself a reef tank after about 2 years of discovering the hobby. I purchased an eclipse 12 starter kit, 12 gallon acrylic tank with heater, bio-wheel, and light that i have no idea the specs on. I set it up about 20 or so days ago with 25 lbs. of LS, let it sit a few days and then introduced about 14 lbs. of Indo LR. Only took a few days to start seeing some type of shrimps swimmin' around and a very mysterious worm that i am yet to see the tail of. The algae has shown itself and went out today and bought 2 turbo snails, and 2 red leged hermit's. Im a little paranoid that the they have the name "turbo" for a reason, and that they might eradicate all the algae and cause dismay in the tank. According to the people at my local fish store i can get away without a skimmer in my set up as long as I do the proper water changes 2x's a month. Any constructive critisim and any ideas for future purchases is most definately appriciated, thanx!
