I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm not new to saltwater aquariums by any means. I've had saltwater aquariums for the last six years. I used to really do well for myself, but since my wife has gotten a great job - I'm pretty much a permanent college student. That is - until I get my doctorate in Marine Biology from USM. I am currently searching for a few new saltwater forums to call home.

At one time I was running six 55 gallon aquariums, a 20g tank, a 90g show tank, two 240g tanks, two 110g frag tanks and around sixty 30 gallon tanks at the same time. I sort of had a break down three years ago and got rid of everything except for my 20g aquarium.

My current setup is a 20g reef tank with 6xT5 lights, Eshopps external overflow to a 10g sump. No filtration media, no carbon, no phosphate removers or chemical dosers. I just run an algae scrubber on the system and top off with a kalkwasser drip and supplement with Vitamin C, magnesium and trace. I also dose a little iron once a week to keep my scrubber's algae going strong.

My camera isn't working at the moment, and my tank has been neglected for a few weeks, so I'll avoid posting pics for awhile until I can get everything back in order.
