    Hello all, just started to work on my 55 gal aquarium. Used to be freshwater. Moved all the little guys to outdoor pond, and want to try my hand at this. A little scarry, and lots of research involved. Got the water, live sand mixed with crushed coral. Just waiting for it all to settle in and look for a piece of live rock and some kind of dry rock. Still trying to figure this out. Just figured to start from scratch and take my time working on this. Been working with fresh water fish for nearly 25 years, Ponds for 7 years. So here goes with the saltwater tank.

    welcome, it sounds like your taking your time getting into this aspect of aquaria. You are doing it the right way take your time and do RESEARCH, and read books. They will give you definitive answeres, unlike the forums where you will get 20 different opinions!
