HI! First, I would like to say thankyou to the forum for the birthday wishes!

My name is Pam and i am the founder of NW Fish Rescue.

I have 6 tanks, only 3 of them are set up right now.

Those are all freshwater, a 55, 10, and 39 gallons.

We have one fish in quarantine right now, an African Cichlid.

    Thanks again!

    Pam

    Possible...

Hi, thanks! I would love to have a salt water tank but I have no idea how to start. I do have a 40 gallon I could use, and I should have one set up in case some marine fish come into the rescue.

What to do? I have no idea what my first step would be.

Thats part of the reason I joined this forum, to learn.

    Pam

There are plenty of threads on here that you can read to get started, scroll down to the general section then new to hobby. At the top are some sticky threads I recomend reading, thats not to say you cant ask questions, please ask away, but it will give you a better idea if salt is for you. Research, research, then research some more, it's not a cheap hobby or rescue to get into by any means, having said that fowlr isn't to terribly bad and alot cheaper than keeping corals. Have a plan, ecspecially wanting to rescue, it will make it so much easier on you down the road I promise.
