I have to admit, I have been lurking here for awhile, but I have held off on introducing myself because of my shyness. I am happy to say now that I am a part of this community becuase everyone is so friendly and helpful, so I am hoping some of that I will be the benefactor of some friendliness too. :)

It has been about 15 years since I kept my last reef tank so I am a bit rusty -- wow have things changed! I have got the itch again so I plan on setting up a small reef of about 70 gallons. I have got the tank and some equipment. Wish me luck.

LOL. I almost read that wrong. I somehow saw, "I have got the ICH again and. . . " I nearly said to myself, "wow, the guy probably doesn't even have fish yet. . and ich already?"

    Anyways, welcome to 3reef!

I pickup up a solana xl67 package from current usa. I got a gift certificate from a good friend and kicked in some change to pick it up.

Skimmer is a tunze 9410... calcium reactor is a deltec 501... aquamedic nitrate reactor... ph/orp controller is milwalkee... ro/di unit is 75 gpd.

Still on the shopping list: co2 regulator with solenoid, maybe an effluent chamber for my deltec, wavemaker, 1/4 chiller and accessories (refractometer, etc.)... anything I missed?
