Hey guys, I'm back with an update on tank info and recent photos to share!

First off, let me say that I don't know how to enter my tank info on here so that it shows with my posts like how I see most of the users here have it. Please show me how, someone ^_^

    Okay, here we go.

    *EDIT*: Tank Age: 2yrs
    Tank Size: 110gal
Dimensions: 48 in. long, 31 in. tall, and 18 in. wide.
    Filters:

-Wet dry in left side of sump. Magnetic drive utility pump, 950gal/hr that pumps water out from sump into tank.

-I've got these two boxes up top of my tank, but idk what it's called. I took photos to show you guys-- maybe you would know what it is by seeing it.

[IMG] That thing =3 oh, and my dad frequently cleans/changes that sponge and filter cloth thing.

-Above my wet-dry there's filter cloth that my dad hoses out clean every 2-3 days.

UV Sterilizer: 25 watt JEBO UV sterilizer connected inline with 950 gal/hr pump.
Protien Skimmer: JEBO Protien Skimmer (182 II Model) with a 1200 pump, gal/hr is unknown.
Water Change Routine: Dad changes 20% every 6 weeks.
    Pumps:

-Rio + 2100 powerhead, located 5-6 inches from the bottom-left side of my tank, but the gal/hr is unknown, because we couldn't understand the information on the back of the box to figure that out.

-The return water from the sump (950 pump) is on the upper right hand corner of my tank. (you'll probably see the pumps in my photos that I will include in a minute)

Water: Reverse osmosis, and maybe deionized too-- not too sure. We get our water from the windmill waterhouses and sometimes from the Publix water stations.

    Sand: Live sand, 2 inches.
Live Rock: 7 pieces of small-med live rock.
Lighting: 96 watt dual daylighter, 96 watt dual actinic, with moonlight.
    Current Livestock:
    -1 Blue Damsel
    -1 Blue-Green Chromis
    -1 Juv. Red Coris Wrasse
    -1 Foxface Rabbitfish
    -1 Juv. Gray Angel
    -1 Diamond Goby
    -1 Tomini Tang
    -5 hermit crabs.

We don't have a thermometer, so I couldn't tell you the avg. temp. at the moment. If it's important, let me know if obtaining a thermometer is necessary. I don't have a chiller, neither do I have a cover, but I plan on getting/making a fitted mesh for the top, because I want a Longnose Hawkfish again. Mesh because I've been told that solid covers are bad. We don't have a ground probe either.

Here's a pic of my sump.

and also, here's a recent photo of my tank's setup, where you can see where my pumps are located.

Lastly, just some more recent photos for you all to enjoy ^_^

i believe your "boxes" are called overflows, btw nice looking set-up

    **EDIT**
you NEED a way to tell the temp in your tank, i would get a digital thermometer, very reliable and very important

    FOWLR? What's that? =3

Oh, so they're called overflows? Thanks for that, {Nano}! I guess my next order of business with my tank would probably be to obtain a mesh cover and possibly a digital thermometer of some sorts =)

I do plan on purchasing a pre-acclimated green long tentacle anemonie and black percula in the future, and my store owner tells me that temp. is important for those.

Thank you all once again for making me feel welcome here, and all the nice compliments.

Oh, jeez o_o that's a lot of acronyms! I'll just refer to it next time I come across any more unfamiliar terms. Thanks for that though!

I chose fish-only because it's more compatible with my tank desires. I enjoy having a variety of fishes in my tank, and I also favor angelfishes A LOT. As much as I love the reef look as well, I appreciate the individual beauty and colorations of fishes more. If I could have it my way, I'd have a fish only tank, and a reef tank as well =D Maybe when I live on my own ^_^

    My Wanted List:

    -Juv. Emporer Angelfish
    -Flame Angel
    -Elibi Angel
    -Coral Beauty
    -Pearlscale Butterfly
    -Black Percula w/bright colored anemone
    -Longnose Hawkfish
    -Blue Linkia Starfish
-Electric Blue (is it a hermit crab?) ::shrugg:: I saw it yesterday in one of the threads here, and it looked cool! ^_^

That's all I can think of at the moment that I am certain that I want in my tank. Obviously, these fishes are not reef safe, and I wouldn't sacrifice them for a reef tank, so therefore I've the FOWLR that you guys see now ^_^

What would be cool is if one of you can tell me with the knowlege you already have if whether or not these fishes/inverts on my wanted list combined with my current livestock would even be compatible together. That way I can better fixate my tank goals.

I want to make sure EVERYTHING is all set and ready for these fishes before I make another effort to obtain them, because I don't think my dad has enough patience to afford another $50+ fish death :-/

I am eager to learn ^_^

i would strongly suggest you go without starfish if your going to get a hawkfish, i have only heard some very bad things about them... and linkias are one of the most difficult species to care for in the home aquarium, many do not survive long at all...in fact every time i go to a LFS i am allways bound to see 1 or 2 decaying in there tanks....just depressing. as for your inverts like crabs, i dont know if you can keep any with alot of the fish you want...but correct me if im wrong ;D
