    Hello everyone. New to your forum and salt water aquariums in general. Just setting up a 38 gallon tank and so far I'm only using 2 50 gallon aqua clear filters (came highly recommended from two different LFSs), lots of live rock, sand and a few crabs. We hope to ultimately have fish and coral too. I have been enjoying your website for a few weeks now and have decided to join. You all have lots of valuable experience and information. Keep up the great work!

    My youngest son wants a "nemo fish" and my other son and husband haven't decided yet. I like the bangaii cardinal fish and mandarin goby. The list is still in the making. We were told probably only 4-6 fish and we want reef safe since we hope to add corals.

    No. The tank has already cycled. I've tested it myself several times and twice at the LFS. They said we were fine to start adding livestock. They've been in there over a week and seem to be doing fine.
