    Hello everybody! I'm new to this forum stuff so please excuse the rookie stuff! Lol! I have been a freshwater aquariast for many years! I have 3 freshwater tanks that include 2 heavily planted tanks that include 1 community fish tank, and the other has pea puffer fish. I also have cichlids that include a jack dempsey, red devil, and a couple of red parrot fish (my dempsey is about 5 years old and is past his 6 inches, the red devil is bigger!). I am a newby to saltwater tanks and just started my first marine tank which is a regular 29 gallon tank that I started with live rock. I would love to have a reef tank with fish a few fish (that's my goal).

    Welcome to 3reef,and to saltwater.I had freshwater for years and used to raise angels.You'll find that salt tanks need alot more attention but it's definatly worth it.

    I second the "more attention but well worth it". Good to see another new reefer. Take you time on the planning side and you will be happier in the long run. And learn alot from our mistakes. LOL
