I would like to say Hello to everyone and that I've been reading some of yours posts for sometime and finally decided to join. I have had a saltwater tank for about 5 years and just recently traded my 37gal in for my new 75 gal. I love it so far; The tank has been set up for about 6 weeks and for now its only a FOWLR but it would like to get some beginner corals so I've been trying to figure out what lighting to go with. I am new to corals and wanted to get some good advise from you guys. I've decided that I want T5's but not sure what to get. I know that I would to hang my fixture so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on which fixture would serve me best but at a good price?
    Thanks:)

As far as T5s, most people seem to recommend TEK or ATI for a fixture, both of which you can hang. I recently bought a tek and love it, plus it's very affordable. The ATI fixtures look amazing, however the difference in price can be a deal breaker....it was for me.

First welcome to 3reef. Second a six or eight light fixture would be good for you. You would be able to keep many corals with that kind of fixture. I use mh so I'm sure someone here will chime in and let you know what would be a good brand for you.

    Welcome to 3reef.

A 6 bulb fixture will do fine. Your bulbs will last longer and be more effective if you buy a unit with active cooling ( a fan).

Welcome! I have Teks and I love them. For your tank, I would suggest 6 bulbs. Not 8 - they will blind you! I have 8 on my 90 and it hurts my eyes, lol. For the depth of your tank, 6 bulbs would be just fine.
