    Hi All,
I'm glad to join this wonderful community. I've learned a lot so far lurking and reading these forums and I know I will continue to learn a lot more now that I'm becoming an active member. I'm ready to set up my first tank. I got a great deal from someone locally on craigslist.

I found the perfect tank for my space. It measures 34" wide x 22" deep x 24" tall. It's acrylic and is drilled at the bottom, and there's two more holes on the back wall near the top. I've just finished cleaning it up and took a couple pics.

Welcome to 3reef, I've never setup a overflow system without a wall so hopefully someone else can chime in on the best way to set that up, the 2 back holes are for the return from the sump though
That is a 77 gallon tank according to the calculator

Welcome to 3reef and congrats on your new tank. However, you may want an all glass tank better. That tank looks like it doesnt have a clear view. How old is the tank? Luna

I'm not sure how old the tank is but it was set up on my lawn for several days soaking in vinegar water to remove the old crusty coraline algae residue and it looked quite clear when it was full of water. The tank may be a bit foggy in the pics also because I just finished cleaning out the vinegar water and algae crust.
