Welcome Metweezer, and fellow floridian. If you would like to meet with some local reefers in the area visit ircreefing.com. It's a local reef club for Indian River and St. Lucie area. Were still in the beginning stages of membership so check out the web page and fourm (sorry 3reef not trying to steal any of your members) and ask questions. There are many people who are local and will be able to help and even lend tools advice or even cheap or free corals to help out.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I updated my sig to show my current setup. I plan on making the 29 a sump/fuge for a used 50 I just got, but there is a cloudy film on it that won't come off, at least not easily. This weekend I will try a 24 hour soak in a full tank with a gallon of vinegar. Even if the film don't come off I want to see if the film disappears when the tank is full. If I can get that problem settled I will be looking forward to drilling it and I am totally lost about that as far as location and size of hole. Then figuring what GPH drain I have and getting a pump for my return to match it. I will probably get a 1" or 1 11/2" bulkhead and am thinking about a QuietOne 3000 pump, MSX 160 Skimmer, a Nova Extreme Pro 6x39 watt T5's, unless I hear differently here. I think I have an old pic of my tank (from June). Let me see if I know how to post it on here.
Take Care and thanks again, Steve
