    My wife and I are just getting into the world of saltwater. We were given a 30 gallon tank and stand which have previously been used for fresh water and at the direction of our LFS we have started buying and getting ready. We want to start with a fish only tank with live rock so we replaced the light in our regular hood with a 50/50 light and are still using our marineland 200 filter on the back with the hopes of upgrading both the lighting and filtration soon as we expand.

    We have already learned a lot from the forums and have already found some mistakes we have made. We have some questions, which I will save for the appropriate forums, but are excited about getting everything setup.
