    Just thought I would say hello from Anchorage, Alaska where it is 12 below 0 today. I have a new 40B reef tank I started up 2 days ago. I have about 14lbs of live rock and some sand from an established tank to start with. I can't wait to get animals in it and watch them grow.

    Hey, welcome to 3reef!! You guys have all the snow, we need some down here (Montana)!!

    We used to live in Eagle River and Anchorage a few years ago. We still miss it, and thats when we started to get into this hobby as well. 40B is a great size for sure. You should start a build thread in show off your tank section.

    I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and have flown all over the state for about 14 years but haven't flown with those guys. Sorry. I have had some pretty hairy flights though.Thought it was the end twice now.
