    Hello all, I'm from Melbourne and have recently started my small example of the Great Barrier Reef!
    I've kept freshwater tanks for quite some time now and decided it was time for a nano reef.

    I got a 40L tank, lit up with 2 x 36W PC globes

    Heres the pics we all love to see.

    This is the tank as it stands now. The rock has been in for 3 days so far and there are plenty of 'monsters' crawling all over it. All sorts of worms, feathers, copepods. Its all very exciting so far and I sometimes find myself sitting infront of it for stupid amounts of time waiting to spot the next worm crawl by.

    hey mate, im from australia as well, im up in sydney tho. tank looks like it will be a nice little setup to start with. i just started my first sw tank about 3-4 months ago, ive got a 216lt 2 foot cube setup with a sump and everythin. what have you got for filtration, skimmer? or are you just relying on live rock and water changes? my suggestion if you want to keep corals is get better lighting tho aye.

    cheers all! So wheres the best spots in melb to buy your corals etc? Im out in the easter suburbs. On saturday im going for a drive to the Coburg Aquarium, Upmarket Pets (Queen St), and the Essendon Aquarium. Just to check out the livestock on offer. Everything out east is a bit so-so.
