    Hello all!! man i love this site it's nut's ;D Im working on a 75g reef it's moving along good. I put in a green mushroom frist coral. Hope my pick work's. One day i will have clam's in there not sure who like's the clam's more me or my kids.

    Yes from MN and my set up is a 75g reef 20g long sump corallife skimmer 125 koralia 3 powerhead quiet one pump 3000 250w stealth heater. fish are clown, blue damselfish, banded coral shimp, firefish and 5 snails I have a poor light for now still lost with what light i need to get to house clam's

    Welcome! :wave: It's such a nice and relaxing hobby we have. If you want to keep clams, you will want to get very intense lighting, metal Halide is usually what is recommended for clams. Depending on how deep your tank is, you will probably want at least 400W on the MH alone. Or you can get those new high powered LED lights, those are nice, but wooooooo are the expensive! :drool:
