    Hello Everyone,

I have really enjoyed lurking in the forums for a while and decided to register and become a part of the community. I have learned a lot over the course the year as I inherited the tank from someone as a 55 ga. last June and worked it into a 90 ga. bowfront build over the last few months. Nearly all the hardware save the skimmer is new or was purchased used and I have done my best to match or make the best of what I have learned from the online communities and LFS advice. I would really welcome if anyone wishes to comment on my setup with possible improvements or suggestions.

Disclaimer: I do understand I have some questionable reef denizens such as the puffer (Valentini) and urchin. I don't think I will have the urchin too much longer as it is making it quite difficut to keep down some of the coral frags and I am keeping a close eye on the puffer. I was told he was okay with the last tank he was in with coral.

    Goal:

Build a somewhat harmonious environment with LPS, SPS, and fish. The fish are my sacrifice to my girlfriend for having the tank in the living room. ;)
    I am the coral fan.

Here is a brief synopsis of the tank and link to pictures.

Picasa Web Albums - Jennifer - The 90 Gallon...

90 Ga. Oceanic Bow Reef Hardware:
    2 x 250 Watt MH 10,000 with 108 w T5 supplements (aquablue and actinic)
    1 x external poseidon 4 pump approx. 1000 - 1200 GPH split T return
    2 x Koralia 2 and 1 x Koralia 3
Amiracle 1000 sump with AquaMedic 1000 skimmer
    Refugium (in the planning stages)

    Reef Occupents:

Puffer, Yellow Tang, Hippo Tang, Damsel, Citron Goby, Mandarin, RabbitFish, Cleaner Wrasse, mated clowns (and spawning!), Urchin, LTA Anenome, Porites (recovering from a losing battle to mushrooms), Purple polypped Birdnest (not shown), Frogspawn, Zooanthids, Sinularia (I think), Feather Duster, Shrimp (puffer has been okay with them so far) snails and hermits.

Again, thank you for existing and sharing your knowledge. Looking forward to future conversations.
