    sorry...been busy with work.
paoli is near king of prussia, pa.
this particular setup has been running for about 7 months. i poured into it a year old 125, and into the 125 went a 75 that i had up for about 6 months...and in that...LOL....went a 20 gallon!

    where have i been?
i've been on a long quest to find some normal folks who like the same hobbies as me. i came close a few times...but here i am still searching. please tell me this is the place!?!?!

here's one lesson i have learned....don't rush to get your new tank up and running, and forget to install a single union!

another note- i had three 400 watt magnetic ballasts over the display, and then went to 250's. i think the 250's are plenty for me. meanwhile, i used to have sunlight supply m59s, and had good luck with them, so i chose sunlight supply galaxy electronic ballasts to replace them. this was in feb. of this year. one already quit on me.
they have a 3 year warranty, but how good is a warranty, if you have to ship them in for service every few months?
lucky i saved 2 of the magnetic 400's. i was going to sell them.
-another word of advice...don't buy dual ballasts. i bought a single and a dual....one of the dual went bad. so i had to take 2 halides off of my tank to service the single bad one.
again- lucky i saved the 400's.

Don't know if this is the place to find any "normal folks"...but is certainly the right place if you want to hang out with those luny, addicted, nutcases who are absolutely crazy about reef keeping...:loco:
