    Hi,
my name is Florian and I come from Germany. In october 2010 I bought a 30 liter (8 gallone) nano reef. I need some tips and suggestions. I like this forum very much because its very famous and up-to-date. There are several german citations about 3reef.
    My reef:
I have no protein skimmer. Only surface skimmer and a pump (300l/h) with sponge. You call it 4 in 1 Bio Circulator. I make weekly water changes of 10%-15%. But I am very unsatisfied with my current situation, I battled with several alges over the whole time. At moment a bryopsis outbreak. I tried to raise up magnesium with Tropic Marin Bio Magnesium (dry) to 1600 with no affect. Now I ordered Kent Tech M. I hope to beat the bryopsis plague.
Parallel I will try the following:
I add another pump (150l/h) with an own constructed filter element filled with activated carbon and zeolite. I will remove the sponge and only keep the surface skimmer.

Welcome to 3Reef!!! I like your tank. Have you considered putting a bunch of crabs and snails in there temporarily and then when everything is clear, returning them to the store for credit?

Hallo! Wilkommen ins 3reef (would it be in or to?)! Dein Salzwasser-Aquarium (is the definite article for aquarium das?) macht spaz! Versuchen Sie phosban fur die Algen?
By lowering your phosphate the Algae won't thrive. A few tips:
    1. Don't feed as often
    2. Add higher flow such as a powerhead to keep algae from attaching
    3. Use a phosphate removal media such as phosban
    4. Add Caulerpa or other deireable Macro Algaes to outcompete the algae
    5. Use reverse osmosis water, not water from the sink
    Hope this helps! Good luck!

Yes, I was unsure whether it was die or der as the direct object changing the indirect to dein-e.
