Hello From IL

Hi,

My name is Garrett, I'm from Illinois, I stop by once in a while and browse through the threads. I'm on several forums already but what's one more hurt?

I'm currently running a 40b with a mixed reef. Lighting was all reefbreeders until a week or so ago when I added T5HO's to the fixture, so far I'm loving the added bulbs. I had a very busy summer and tank maintenance got put off for months, as well as RO/DI maintenance (TDS was creeping well into double digits), and I also let my dosing get way off track and my alk climbed pretty high. As a result my corals really suffered. I lost a lot of color in my SPS, I have receding flesh on one of my chalices, etc.

The tank is starting to get back on track now, my corals are quickly recovering and color is returning.

Anyway, just wanted to say high, I've been lurking for a while.

Very nice, I like the lighting combo. I am going LED with T5 ATI as well, your colors are great, I like less blue.

What Acropora is in the last image please?

I don't know, got it from a friend and I'm terrible with acro ID's anyway.. when I got it it was a deep grass green, then I proceeded to let my tank decline and it browned. as you can see in the pic it's getting it's color back pretty quick though.
