Hello from New York

    I first started this hobby about 2 years ago with a 29 Gallon tank that I tried making a Reef tank out of. Needless to say things did not go so well. I lost most fish as well as my coral. But since I was a kid my Father had tanks so I know these things happen. My older older brother followed in my dad's footsteps and really got into the Reef tanks.
    While his new house was being built he stayed in my basement and brought his 90 gallon reef tank with him. After he FINALLY left he asked if I wanted his tank. Reluctantly I agreed, but unfortunately this tank took a similar turn as my first. I have recently found a very good aquarium that does service calls just to get this tank back on track. They did an awesome job, but now I want to keep the tank in great condition so I figured I better join a forum and ask as many questions as I can. Tks for having me.
