    Hello everybody,

I joined today to ask people to participate in a survey I am doing about fish mortality in aquarium, but thought it would be rude to not post a little bit about myself as well :).

I am a 35 year old man from Norway that started my first aquarium about 18 months ago. It's a Red Sea Max 130 L and it's a lot of fun. I won't sa much about the technical aspects of my tank since it is a plug and play tank, bt I have added some extra LED lights, a new skimmer, a Vortech MP10 and an auto top off. I try to feed with a lot of different food and cultivate my own live plankton to feed with as well. I am not starting to plan an upgrade to a 800 + liter aquarium.

Here are a few pictures of my tank from these last 18 months:

very pretty little madarin there. That is usually a good sign for the aquarium how long have you had him. Eating prepared food?

Yes, he's a beauty and so is his lady :). They are tank bred by a friend here in Norway. I got them about 6 months ago, when they were around 11 months old, and they have grown significantly since then. They are still small, though.

I feed them with frozen foods in addition to what they pick from the rocks. At first I fed them with a tube directly in front of them, but now they are left to fight with the other fish for the food, and it seems to work very nicely. They have nice little tummies. I am always trying to vary their food, though, and will try to grow live copepods for them now. And when spring comes I will collect live critters from the sea.
