Hi everyone at 3reef. I am new to your forum and quite honestly could not tell you the set up of my tank, as really it is my partners tank. He is off in the Navy somewhere,so now it is my baby to look after for a while.

What I can tell you is it is a 6x2x2 tank with a truckload of live rock and many occupants including:
Emperor Angel (Ming - they all have names)
    Coral Beauty (CB)
    Flame Angel (Flicker)
2 Clowns (I think Ocellaris) that are spawning
    2 Clarkii Clowns
    4 Damsels
    False Gramma (Pinky)
    Psychadelic Mandarin (Dotty)
Six Line Wrasse (Reggie -he is the bully of the tank for any newbies)
Unkown type of Tang (Yellow tail, yellowish underbelly, greyish top, pale blue dots and wiggles)
    Cleaner Wrasse (Sadie)
    Yellow Coral Goby (Mellow Yellow)
    Yellow Assessor
    Coral Banded Shrimp (Mr Pinchy)
1 Crispa Anemone (probably 18" diameter and growing every day)
    2 Bubbletips

All is going great and everyone appears to be healthy and happy.;D

We have a new 7.5' x 2.5'x2.5 tank that is yet to be set up, so some of these fellas will move house in the near future.

My partner has really wanted a Yellow Tail Tamarin Wrasse and finally the other day my LFS got me two. I gave one to our good mate and took the other home. After being in my tank for half an hour he has not been seen since (4 days ago) :worried: . The one I gave to my friend is out and about - are these wrasses normally reclusive?? There is a lot of rock in the tank and therefore loads of places to hide. Has anyone got any ideas? Or should I write him off:confused:

    Thanks

Wrasses can be reclusive, especially in a tank that size. Keep an eye on it and let us know on other boards any further questions you might have specifically.

    Thanks for joining!

    Welcome to 3reef!!!
Wrasses are funny. Sometimes they will be out at the first smell of food and other times they will not be seen for a day or two, then when you think it is dead, there it is again....
