Hi frem San antonio... I just got a Red Sea Mas 34g... It's my first salt water tank in about 15 years. I was stupid with my first tank... it was too small and I rushed it to death!!!!!

I've got live sand, and about 15 pounds of live rock so far. Can I put cleaner crew in an uncycled tank?

My Green Chromis skim the surface of my tank at night. When I turn the lights back on, they have a different color, splotchy! After a few minutes with the lights back on, their color is back to normal! What's going on?

    thanks:confused:

Welcome to 3reef. If you are cycling the tank then there is no need for lights on, will only fuel algae right now and I doubt that is what you want.

    This is cool

;D Howdy again... GO SPURS GO

Thanks for all of the quick replys! I didn't know that the fish camo. themselves, but it makes sense! Any insight into why the chromis hang out at the top of the tank at night? I thought they were supposed to sleep in the rock?

Also, I'm getting some merky water in my skimmer, but no bubbly stuff. Is this ok?
