    Names Will,

Been into aquariums for quit some time (15 years). Have been reading this forum for awhile now and thought I would join. I currently have a 140 FOWLR tank. Have had a few reef tanks in the past but have moved on due to time restraints and job hazards. I look forward to any questions I may be able to answer or advise on. I'm not all knowing and have plenty questions myself and look forward to asking them.

welcome to 3reef! what fish do you currently have in your setup? it's hard for old eyes to see :)

I've vacationed quite a few times at Hilton Head - very pretty down in the low country.

Fish are: Australian harlequin tusk, tomato clown, porcupine puffer, niger & clown triggers, Red Sea purple tang, and a luner wrasse. Everyone plays nice, and have been able to keep my nitrates under 20 with monthly 50 gallon water changes, and strong skimming . I have a feeling I will need to add a bio-pellet reactor before to long as the fish grow . Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Tank has been up and running for about a year now and I do not plan on adding any other fish due to the size that the current occupants will get.

Thanks for the awesome on the fish list, thought long and hard about these fish and also the order I put them in. Like I said everyone plays nice now but only time will tell if that stays true, or if they outgrow the tank. I will try and post some pics as soon as I can of them.

Wow the Harlequin tusk is a beauty, what do you do for a clean up crew ? Does he eat them ?

Don't have a clean up crew don't think they would last long, just a but load of controllable current. My tusk eats about anything now, he was real picky when I first put him in the tank (2 weeks or so and he hid a lot during the lights on cycle. I started him off with some local live hardback shrimp. He now eats everything clams, myisis, brine, krill and silversides. I feed my fish all different types of frozen food.
