    welcome to the saltwater hobby! If you tapped in because you had to, you picked the right hobby (in that at a certain age, you have to take some money out :)). It's a lot of upfront cost but once you get the basics (which are expensive) the money spending does slow down a bit (at least until you get the bug to upgrade to a bigger tank). There are also many DIYer threads and members on here that help save you a bunch of money if you're a handy person.
