    Hello 3Reef,

I am fairly new to reef keeping but several years into the freshwater hobby. Now that my freshwater tanks are running smoothly and taking to time grow out I thought why not try my hand at something new. I just finished my cycle earlier this month and am already loving this side of the hobby as much if not more than the freshwater side.

Here are a few details about my tank.

I have IM Nuvo Micro 30 with the following gear:

    2x Hydor Nano 425
    Stock return pump at 317gph
    Hydor Flow
    Ecoray 60d
    Eheim heater
    40lbs of Live Rock
    30lbs of live sand

    Fauna:
    1 True Perc Clown
    Cleaning Crew includes:
    2x Turbo Snails
    7x Hermit Crabs
1x Ruby Crab (I think this is just a variation on the emerald green crab)
    1x Sand Sifting Starfish

    Coral:
    Kenya Tree
    Green Branching Hammer

Things I am still looking to buy or do to the tank in the next month. :

Skimmer (still deciding on what brand, I have heard good things about Eshopps Nano Skimmer)
    Setup a refugium
Possibly the hydor wavemaker but I am not sure if my tank needs it.

Here are a few photos. Everything wasn't in the tank yet when I took these but it will give you an idea of what rock layout I am going with. Sorry its a little cloudy this was shortly after I changed my rock layout.

If there is anything else you suggest that I look into please let me know as I am still new to this hobby and still learning. Thanks and looking forward to being a part of 3Reef!

welcome to 3reef! You are off to a great start! The only comment I can make is that you may want to not have your rock touching the back or sides of the tank. It makes it difficult to scrub around it and also can reduce flow through it.....
