Hello all you fellow salt freaks. Here in sunny Imperial Valley, CA (120mls. East of San Diego, CA). Moved back here to take care of my folks. Brought my 2+ yr. old 110T tank in tow in "frag" form. That was VERY interesting, to say the least. Have seperated LPS, SPS, softies into two 50g's which worked out with minimal loss.
Have been reefing for about 6yrs. going on 7. My next plans are to take the original frags from my San Diego tank along with all the other frags I've collected and start up a 120g mixed reef, 40g sump/skimmer, 25g Fuge, 150# Fiji LR, DSB. Have all ready to go except thinking about going to all T5's (x8) and adding a calcium reactor.
Seems like a very unintimidating & helpful space......any advice or experiences with T5's & CR's would be very greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

No pics yet. Most of the 120g equip. is in storage or still in the box. Just keeping a good eye and praying that the 2 50's hold all my livestock before the big move.....you'll be the first to get pics. Maybe I'll take pics in sequence as I set it up.
    Thanks!!

First of all, welcome to 3reef;D. T5s are only good upto 24" of I remember right. Any deeper, I would go with MH. Also a DSB can go toxic after a couple years of fermenting. Otherwise, you seem to have it worked out pretty well. Good job.

What do you recommend for calcium/phos reactors.....don't know anything about them other than they use media and CO2.....
    Thanks.
