I grew up in Monterey and loved the Garlic Festival. It was truely a fantastic time but no one wanted to be around me for a couple days afterward. We dont get that much garlic in Virginia but we have ham =)

    Welcome to 3Reef

Ever notice if you drive through there during harvest time, your car has a sticky garlic film on it? I for one can't stand the smell of garlic for too long. Cilantro on the other hand.......

Cilantro is "ode do armpit". I would prefer to bath in garlic than eat even a little of that noxious green weed. Oh well, to eat there own.

Cilantro tastes just like soap to me. Can't stand the stuff. Garlic, on the other hand, put it in some olive oil and sweat it. Not too much heat--just very slowly get some color on it. It gets sweet like candy.
