Hello from the high desert!

Hey all,
This is actually my first joining of an internet fish/reef forum of any sort, although I've been at the saltwater fish hobby for 10+ years and reef tanks for 5+ years. I currently have a 29 gal fish only tank and a 55 gal reef setup. Using basic LED lights on the fish only tank and 54W T5 x 6 (3 actinic/2 10K daylight/1 purple) on the 55 gal.

Have mainly been keeping it simple with the soft corals, nothing too complicated.
I live in a small town in New Mexico, and the nearest fish store is ~2 hours away, so I've gotten pretty good at anticipating my fish tank needs since it's been a mostly internet-based operation in obtaining fish/coral stuff thus far.

My wife and I are expecting twin girls in about 5 months, so in anticipation of me having far less time to research fish stuff on my own, I though I'd join so I could ask questions more easily ;D, although I also look forward to being of whatever assistance I can to others as well.

Welcome to 3reef, and congrats on the twins!! I started up my first two reef tanks the week after my first daughter was born My daily fish time is after 7:30 once she is in bed

 

welcome to 3reef and congrats on the babies! Twins will definitely cut into your fish time but in a very awesome way obviously! Are these your first children?

Just FYI, we love to see pictures on this site. Would really enjoy seeing pics of your tanks!
