hello from the realy great white north

Hi folks,
I'me Patrice and I'me from Yellowknife (NWT, Canada). it's freaking cold here today.
I am new to the reef side of the hobbie. I have few fresh water planted tank at home and and realy enjoy it. I have said many time that salt water was not for me and swear I would stick on planted tank. never say never

Here is my story:
last year, I started to run an aquarium maintenance business here in Yellowknife. Thing goes great and business grow slowly. Unfortunatly (or fortunatly) half the people who called me have reef tank. I told them I know nothing about salt water but if they only need someone to keep the glass clean, I could be the man. since that day, I'me fully in charge of a nice 150gallon reef tank(plus 50g sump), a 80g FO (plus 20g sump), a few lobster tank (ok thats boring), my own 10g nano reef (new! 8 weaks old) and few dudes who call me once in a while.
That is what I call a good reason to rush on learning fast. I have spend the last months reading, reading and reading again. the is so mutch and I enjoy it lot.
Do do my test, I decided to set up my first salt water tank. for now, it's a little 10 tank and I plan to replace it by a DIY 20g soon. there is only live rock from a client in there. I am watching stuff growing. also, there is 3 hermit crab and 2 types of unknow coral or mush that had grow (maybe the were there before?). light is a realy bad 15w cheap bulb and I got a new 150 metal halide coming next weak to take the relay.

so here I am! I hope we will have the chance to talk lot about all that!
