Ok...here is a silly question. I just stacked the rock in the tank to create somewhat of a type of arch way, I really would like some different types of rocks other than what I have these are in there just to start my cycle process. Once my tank has cycled can I change some of the rock out with different rock and not have to cycle the tank again? Or could I change the rock and proceed with livestock?

you can change the rock out but you'd have to do it piece by piece over time. The live rock on its surface and deep within it, is a large part of your biological filter - if you would switch it out with different rock, you'd need to start all over.....if you did it all at once. does that make sense? if you want to change your rock, I'd do it now in the beginning and cycle the tank with the different rock

I understand, I may work with what I have and see if I can get those rock the way I want them. I really do not want to start the cycling process again once it has started.

I think you can make some interesting structures with your existing rock. It also looks like it's got some nice coralline on it....

I was looking around forum couldn't or really didn't know if there was a certain Thread started for equipment as a whole not just individual pieces of equipment so I figured I would just ask in here. I am just taking opinions ( or rather asking for them ) this is my setup as of now

2 AquaticLife 4 bulb T5 fixtures 2 blues and 2 whites ( adding 2 more fixtures so I will have 4 blue and 4 white ) cant remember which type of bulbs will update when I get home.
    1 Eshopps 150 wet/dry
1 heater currently ( from my 72 bowfront that died ) I am buying 2-3 small 150 watt heaters to replace the 1 heater

Does anyone see anything I am missing besides a Skimmer ? Ideas on a good skimmer? I know I don't need it right now, but I will when I start adding livestock. I also need a good CUC I checked into those at xxx.reefcleaners.org ( didn't know if we are allowed to post live links ). I have around 20-30 snails but I think they are just not going to be enough when I get to where I want my tank to be with livestock so I am thinking about a crew with a variety of snails and crabs.
