    Hi everyone well it's been 15yrs since I built my last 80 gallon reef tank and boy things have sure changed. I thought I was cutting edge back then with a sand bed and protein skimmer right up until summer when I overheated my tank and lost well over 700 dollars in corals alone. Now that I am older and wiser with a ton more reading to help me I have decided to purchase a Cadlights 39 pro series nano wish me luck because I am sure I will need it!

    I live very close to Tucson, the heat is a huge problem.

    Congrats on the new system I really like Cadlight systems.

    Welcome to the 3reef family, Boa1277. You will have a great time here.

    I would suggest to look for a small chiller if heat is a big problem in that area. I'm in TN and even here I'm running my tank (currently, but not in winter) heater-less.
