Hello from Virginia Beach

Hey Everyone,
As you can tell from my screen name my name is Ben. I have had 3 different saltwater tanks over the past 4 years. I started out with a 55g tank all equipment was HOB, I kept that tank for about 18 months and was ready for an upgrade. My next tank was an 125 gallon tank lit with T5's, drilled in the back and had a Sump/fuge consisting of a 40 breeder(sump/equipment) and 30 tall(fuge) Only coral I carried over from my 55g was my Duncans(Have had since 3 polyps). I kept that tank for a little over 2 years. My most recent venture is my 45g tank. I am lighting it with DYI LED's from reefleds.com all controlled by an Apex. I am running a Reef Octo 1000SSS, Reef Octo BR-110 Biopellets and a Reef Octo Single Chamber Calcium Reactor rated up to 300g. Alot of the equipment on the 45g is overkill and is for a purpose of upgrading back to a bigger tank. I took a break from a big tank for several reasons, but wanted to get equipment in place to be able to go back up. Future plans are for a 300g DD. I came over to this forum recommended by Cosmo who I have been friends with for 25+ years.
