    I would say wait until after the diatom bloom as so you will experience the zooplankton bloom typically associated with diatom blooms :) I usually let me tanks sit for 3-6 months prior to putting any fish in. Just my humble advice :D

    Yeah, I am one who puts one damsel in....a yellow-tail would be a tough one. The three and four stripers die easily IME. Many schools of thought here. I put in originally four damsels in my 75g. Old school rules were one damsel per 20g. Too much.

    thanks for the advice! im actually proud of myself! ive waited!!! i was really lucky in getting some great LR. I have all kinds of critters crawling through them! Not a huge fan of the bristle worms though...
