    My boyfriend says that you should just take her to the fish store and let her pick out a fish that she thinks is "cute" and let her name it.

    Well, it worked with me.

    And luckily it worked out for us, lol. Normally he researches a fish for a few weeks before adding it. We were VERY fortunate that the cute fish has a wonderful personality and that the guy we go to for our fish is great, otherwise we might have ended up with a very cranky lionfish going after all of our other fish. Instead we got Bruce who is more like a dog than a fish :)
