    I Fell like a NEWBIE having to join a forum to get things in order. I have had saltwater for 12 years. Have had a reef tank in the past, however had to let it go due to health problems. i have also had fresh water for over 30 yrs. Currently, I have an 80 gallon custom bow,FOWLR, 80 pds LR,with a 25 galon sump that has it own filtration system,Emperor 400 on the back, an AP300 internal filter (280gph) for water movement behind the rocks. I also run a Vecton 600 sterilizer( can't believe I have the NERVE to maintain this thing). I also have a 26 bow with a 15 gallon sump, also with its own filtration,20pds LR. with an Emporer 280 on the back.This tank has been up for 6 years, and the 80 gallon for 5.This past winter Ilost the beautiful fish in my 80 gallon. A hippo tang(6yrs),foxface lo(5yrs), 2 wild caught perculas that were a gift from a freind that is a diver (10yrs!!:cry::cry::cry:), and a purple firefish(4yrs). Needless to say, I am DEVASTED!!So here I am, starting over with this tank. The 2 fish in the 26 bow (royal gramma(4yrs), and a flame hawkfish(3yrs),were in a room that had warmth, and made it. After 2 months in quarentine tank, I just recently put in a 4in foxface one spot, 4 inch gold stripe maroon clow, and a 3-1/2 inch hippo tang. I now have to pull everyone out, as the tang is the WORST bully that I have ever seen in a paracanthurus. He keeps the foxface in the upper corner of the tank. The clown takes it in stride. The foxface has been shy from day 1, not at all like the 1 I had before for all those years. I was told by my diver friend that the Foxface 1 spot is a little more timid than the lo, and perhaps I should replace him with a larger foxface lo. Either way, the tang has to come out( shoot me now), or I won't be able to add anything else. Does anyone else have experience with the 1 spot? I would be grateful for any input. Thank you

    welcome to 3reef nutsabout. ive got a 1 spot foxface, and mine is on the timid side also. spends alot of time in different caves and such. and as strange as it sounds , hes gotten quite a bit more adventurous in swimming around since i added a purple tang. go figure eh? lol. sorry about your losses from before, but good to hear youre wading back in. cheers
