Well my name is Kristen and I was told about this nice little forum. I can't really say I'm in the reef keeping part yet, but I did just get my first salt water tank. :) it's a 55 gallon fish tank and it was just started this week, so I want to venture through this before I get into the whole corals and everything. I thought this would help me learn and what not before I'm ready though. My father and I have always had fresh water, since I was four, so we decided to dip our toes into salt water. His good friend who has kept salt water fish is helping us. :)

I have two clown fish, a watchman goby, and a blue crab.

Well just want to introduce myself and meet some people. :)

Oh yes it is! I bought it from someone who had it already set up, and I took all the water and everything. Those were the fish that came with it. We are closely watching everything with our testing kit though just in case. There is some algae on the rocks though, so I have to find a way to get rid of that. Suggestions.?

I will post pictures soon for sure! I actually have a question with one of my close fish. :)

Welcome. The best choice youve made in your journey was joining this forum. You will learn 10 times faster than the average person in your position who doesnt join a forum. Accellerated learning for sure.....and..you will soon find that freshwater vs saltwater..particulary "reefs" is not even close to a comparison.so much more in so many ways.....welcome again..

Thank you for all the welcomes!

Yes. It was the first thing I did. I bought myself a chameleon two years ago, and didn't realize I bought all the wrong things until I joined a forum. Then I ended up having to buy all new things to house her properly, so I thought I might as well do this right the first time. I do have some questions too ;)
