I like what you have done with the rockwork. Welcome to 3reef. Keep the pics coming. And give us a rundown of your hardware. I am curious.

Welcome to 3reef and thanks for the pics!!!!!!!!! I really like the aquascape. However, how are you going to remove the koralia on the left to clean/service if need be?

Yes I was just thinking about that. The picture doesn't allow for very much depth, but yes there are quite a few ledges. However after reading your post it got me thinking and possibly the ledges don't hang out far enough. Something to Definitely Consider, as for the Koralias I made sure they're easy to get to :)

Are you going to do fish only or reef?

Whew, I thought you were running PCs there for a moment. I looked up your lighting and T5s came up. Good. It was a concern of mine.

If you do anything more than moderate stocking, I would consider getting a skimmer rated above what you have. A 125 would do nicely. I am a believer in overdoing the skimming, since many of us (myself included) like to stock our tanks to capacity.

Your amount of rock is great, your amount of sand is great.

Running a decent canister filter.....good....just remove the carbon while cycling the tank if you have not already.

You are also going to want to think about flow. I estimate you have about....Oh.....just did the math. Your flow is fine. I came up with about 2000GPH total (40x turnover). Good.

And it is perfectly OK to wait to stock. A few months will let the tank mature to a very comfortable state.

    Good job once again.
