    Hey guys. New to the board, but I've had some experience with salt water tanks. I recently converted my fiance's boring fresh water 25G to a reef tank, since I've always wanted one, and 25G is plenty big, budget-wise ;)

    I had a 55G FOWLR that I kept for a while, but traveling for work made that come to a sad end. My desire was always to have corals, so research and board-stalking has eventually led me to registering. Anyways, glad to be here. Looking forward to lots of good info.

    The reef tanking is still cycling (been about two weeks now), so after my levels all level out I'll take some better pics that don't include random algae and brown little sprout-looking things everywhere. Anticipating about another month.

    Setup:
    25G (24" wide, 12" deep, 20" (?) tall)
    Fluval 205 canister
    AC70 DIY mod for a fuge that will eventually contain the green stuff
    Koralia 240 Power head
    24" Aqualight Compact Florescent
    Visi-Therm Stealth Heater

    I'll get a protein skimmer once I actually get some bioload after the cycling is done. LFS has a small in-tank one that was pretty decent. Can't remember the brand and a big sea-clone one would be too much.
