    Hello - I'm embarking on a new adventure and found this great resource when trying to make a plan on how to tackle my first reef aquarium!

    Thanks so much!

    My tank is 75 gallons, 20 gallon sump, Mag 9.5 return, siphon/overflow drains, AquaC R with Mag 3 skimmer, Seio M2600, SSB in the DT, BB in the Sump, Aquatinx 5 275 watt T5HO.

    I used about 50lbs of direct transfer LR with encrusted algae and apparently some actinodiscus hitchikers, various sponges, etc. I'm on day 11 and no cycle. I'm finishing the diatom bloom and starting to see green hair algae. I've ordered my clean up crew to arrive by this week.
