    Hi,

    Having donated my freshwater tank to my daughter, I decided to use my 55 gallon tank for a marine set-up. So set about reading and researching for about a month, then started to buy the kit and set it up. I'm at the cycling stage at the moment, so just patiently waiting for mother nature to do her thing.

    I moved from the UK to Brunei last year, and we are going to be here 7-8 years. The only problem is, I have one saltwater shop, and products are very limited. So I have to go with what I can get, as to have stuff shipped here, costs as much as the item itself. For example I want a set of AquaticLife T5's cost $369, shipping $273 and that's the cheapest I can find.

    So I have:
    55 Gallon tank
    RO/DI unit
    Eshopps PF-300 Overflow
    2 Resun wave makers
    Wierpro 2011 skimmer
    Resun 500 Phosphate Remover
    Hailea chiller

    Not the best makes, but the best I can get here. I will probably upgrade as people come to visit or I travel home. I will get the AquaticLife T5's next month as I see them as essential.

    That's about me really :)

    Welcome it sounds like you have a good plan, keep a eye on the for sale thread you can always pick up quality stuff for great prices.

    Thanks for the welcome.

    sticksmith23, well she showed such an interest in fishkeeping I thought I would help her out. Now she is saying, when I am old enough to have a marine tank :)
