    Hello all,

    This is Mark from Frederick MD currently I am running a 125 with 250mh and 175mh and 4 T5 acintic flouros. Currently have a homemade sump that holds around 20g with an overflow that can take another 40g in case of a power failure. My tank just finished its cycle and have added a green chromie to see if things are ok. I have appx 100 pds of live rock and 100pds of crushed coral and live sand. I am adding another 100pds of rock tonite that has been curing for two weeks in at the LFS. My tank is not drilled and have a UPS keeping the pump going incase of a power failure. I will try and get pics up soon once I get everything settled down. Had a reef tank some years ago but had to take it down due to a move and finally got it up again.

    LOL my sump is pretty pathetic right now. Its basically a rubbermaid bin with a homemade trickle filter using old acrylic drawers and glue. It works good though. I will take some pics tonite or tomorrow going rock shopping tonite and might not make it home in time. Currently I am working on a chiller using an old compressor from a broken fridge and am going to try several different types of plumbing for it. I am currently using PVC but herd this was not the best for transfering heat. Right now the tank runs between 79 and 82. Cant seem to get it below 79 with out running the AC which freezes everyone out of the house. hehe i havn't turned the heat on at all this year.
