    Hello! my name is Steven and I am somewhat new to the saltwater community. I have had a couple of different nano systems for the past 3 years. Currently I am running a customized Fluval Edge 6 gallon. great little project. Many ups and downs, but I'm still learning and eager to explore.

    Well, I'm new too, but welcome! I'm really interested in hearing more about your Edge. I've seen them in stores, seems like it could be a sweet pico. Do you have corals? What did you do for lighting? Anyways, would be a great tank thread or something too. Would like to see some pics of that.

    Right now I only have a little mushroom frag and a yellow polyp (one of my most favorite polyps). I had an orange striped goby, 2 firefish, a peppermint shrimp and a few hermits. but I recently had a sudden pH drop and it killed my fish and shrimp(RIP) but everything is good now. :) I have pics up on a blog I started putting together on here. For lighting I modified the lid to fit 3 20w compact florescent 50/50 bulbs. and the filter is a Eheim canister classic.

    OK, I found the blog now. Sounds like you've had your share of trouble with it, but that's a pico tank for you ;) Once you get it figured out, it should be a great tank!
