Hello everyone , I've been looking into setting up a saltwater tank as i'm very intrigued in the way things interact with each other and I need a new hobby! I got interested in fish tanks when I bought my daughter a betta fish, I know it seems silly but i started researching fish tanks, and ended up liking the saltwater one of the two. I have some questions. What size should i start out with for what i want to do?

I want some anenomes, live rock and coral.

I also want some fish ( of course ).

Can a predator tank have clown fish, and live rock + coral?

I'm pretty sure you're laughing at these questions but i'm in all honestly asking for some ideas.

I'm aware of searching before asking and i do appoligize for this question being asked multiple times and answered numerous. I see people doing it anyway so I figured I would join them.

I do thank each and everyone of you whom help us noobs with our setups and information.

I'm looking to spend about 1500$ first go around.

So shoot me some ideas and maybe some links to help me with what i'm loooking for.

What does it mean when a clownfish host an anenome?

I read something about lsp and something else with rocks, and someone wanting to use paste to create a custom rock figure.

So I'm interested in the following

    invertebrates, clams, corals, community fish

after this setup i'm thinking of a predator tank

Any information on good quality products/brands to use?

    Thanks for the help !

Check on all the different 4 sale sites, an see what people are selling in your area. A good way to start an usually cheaper than starting from scratch. I am like you an just recently got serious and very interested in saltwater tanks/reefs. I am going the from scratch root. It's definitely a steep learning curve at first, your best friend is that search feature in the top right corner under the banner.
