    Hey folks!
    Just started getting into the hobby. Always wanted a SW tank and finally decided to dive in. Let me tell you, so far its been kind of a PITA but I know its worth it in the end. Well a billion dollars later Ive got a 54 gal corner tank with plans to house a nice variety of corals and a few fish. Tank has been cycled and going for almost a month. I've currently got a nice COC to help with the algae blooms and recently scored some free fish and a purple lobster from a friend(prob a bit much for a new tank but it was free and I couldn't say no). So far it seems to be working out ok. I thought I'd join to hopefully get some help and advice from more experienced tank owners, cuz I'm sure I'll need it. I hope I have a decent setup.

    Here's what I have:
    54 gal AGA tank w/ stand
    Megaflow Model 1 sump (LR instead of bioballs)
    Coralife SS 125
    24" Aqualight Pro MH 250W
    Eheim 1262 return
    ~85lb Fiji/Vanuatu live rock
    ~60 lb CaribSea Sand
    1 maroon clown(want to get rid of him because he stirs up my sand and it bugs me)
    1 ocellaris clown
    1 blue damsel
    1 purple lobster
    Mixed CUC (astrea, turbos, scarlets, blue legged, etc.)

    Wow, that's a beautiful set up. Love the way you have aquascaped your rock. How big will your purple Lobster get?

    He's about 3.5" and supposedly he's full grown. He does nothing but hide.
